Geez, getting old SUCKS.

My aunt had a stroke about 7 weeks ago and life may never be the same.  No joke.  Since my parents died young, I've never had to deal (much) with hospitals, rehab (well, non-drinking ones), doctors, nurses, more rehab (also non-drinking), Medicare, supplemental insurance policies, and on and on.

OMG.  If it hadn't been for the Casey Anthony trial and all that family's disfunction, I might have gone off the deep end over my own family.

What, there's a family with more trouble than mine?  Whew!

Tonight I saw Tony Bennett in concert at the Austin City Limits new theater.  He is 85 years old, and can still belt out a song better than anybody.  He dedicated a song to Lady Gaga. Here's the picture I took with my fabulous Iphone 4.

This is NOT about religion.

This morning I had KVET FM (yeah, I know...my old station) on during the Sunday Morning
Gospel Show.  I love music, all kinds---it replenishes my soul.  Now usually, I'd turn more to the R & B type Gospel.  But today I heard, "I Found Jesus on the Jailhouse Floor" (George Strait, I swear).  Reminds me of my favorite Christmas carol, "Christmas in Jail".  I don't know why I'm fixated on jail, but I told you it wasn't about religion.

OK, here goes....

Here's the thing.  If I'm telling clients they should have a blog, I guess I should practice what I preach...

Today is National Eggs Benedict Day.  I know that because the Food Channel is always on at my house. (I gave up QVC for Lent, big mistake) The rest of the world doesn't seem to know that it's National Eggs Benedict Day.  There are no flags out, no parades, no presents.
